Climate Positive Driving
We believe in a future in which great cars always have a place on the road and we are intent on helping to build that future in every way possible. That starts with making sure we have roads to drive on when we get there.
We partnered with a company called “Chrome Carbon”, which is one of the only climate offsetting companies founded by a car enthusiast with a program specific to driving collector cars. We are committed to being thoughtful about every aspect of the automotive lifestyle that unites us and making California Mille a climate-positive driving event through this partnership.
Fueling communities
Hagerty takes pride in supporting the communities through which our California Mille tour travels each year. Over the course of its long history based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the California Mille has raised over $90,000 for the San Francisco Chronicle's "Season of Sharing" fund since 2013, providing resources for thousands of families in crisis. As our annual tours now often include areas affected by California’s wildfires, in 2022 we have chosen to support the California Fire Foundation, which provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect. We are deeply committed to making the greatest impact possible for the communities we visit, ensuring that the California Mille continues to support economic prosperity and environmental stewardship as we traverse this beautiful state.
In support of the Hagerty commitment to saving driving and car culture for future generations, the California Mille also annually brings car love to a local nonprofit through hands-on activities, education about our unique vehicles, a financial contribution and more.
